Terms of Use

Naked iOS app and business-funded access

Effective date: 23 October 2026

These Terms govern use of the Naked iOS app and, where relevant, access funded through the Naked business portal. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy. Separate signed business terms govern an organisation's commercial arrangement with us.

1. Provider and acceptance

Naked is provided by Naked Works Limited, company number 14678706, registered at 4 Counters Close, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 1SE, England ("Naked", "we" or "us"). Contact support@naked.health.

By selecting the acceptance control at account creation, you agree to these Terms. We record the Terms version and date you accepted. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is not itself a request for health-data consent. If you do not agree, do not create or use an account. If we materially change these Terms, we will give appropriate notice; if you do not accept the revised Terms, you may stop using Naked and delete your account.

2. What Naked provides

Naked provides self-help and educational content, guided sessions, techniques and tools for stress, anxiety and wellbeing. Some content is available on the Free plan. An optional paid subscription provides access to content marked as Premium. Founders and Premium subscriptions provide exactly the same Premium entitlement and features; only the available price differs.

Naked is not a medical service, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counselling or a substitute for a qualified professional. Content and AI-generated profile insights may not suit every person or situation. Seek professional advice about new, severe or persistent symptoms. Stop an exercise if it causes pain, dizziness or significant distress, and do not use an exercise while driving or doing anything that needs your full attention.

Naked is not monitored in real time and cannot respond to an emergency. If you feel unable to keep yourself or someone else safe, or need urgent medical help, contact UK emergency services or an appropriate crisis service immediately. The app's crisis screen provides further guidance but cannot arrange help for you.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 and located in the United Kingdom to create or use a Naked account in the initial public release. You must confirm at account creation that you are at least 16. We do not ask for your date of birth, but may close an account if we reasonably believe its holder is under 16.

An account is required to use the app. You are responsible for providing an email address you control, keeping your sign-in secure and telling us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Your account belongs to you even when a UK organisation funds access. You may not sell, share or transfer it to another person.

4. Free, Founders and Premium access

The Free plan provides the content and features identified as free in the app. Both a Founders subscription and a Premium subscription unlock the same Premium content and use the same Premium entitlement. Founders is a limited pricing offer for eligible early subscribers, not a different feature tier. We may stop offering Founders prices to new subscribers at any time without affecting an existing continuously active Founders subscription.

Founders and Premium are each offered with a monthly or annual billing period where shown on the paywall. The annual option is offered at a discount compared with paying the then-current monthly price for 12 months. The exact price, currency, billing period and annual saving shown on the paywall and Apple's purchase confirmation apply to your purchase. We do not offer a free trial at launch.

Premium access does not depend on enabling symptom tracking, trigger tracking, AI profile insights or Help Me Now processing. Declining or withdrawing health-data consent will not change your subscription price or remove access to non-personalised Premium content.

5. Purchasing, renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions are purchased through your Apple App Store account and managed in the app using RevenueCat. Apple charges the price shown at confirmation. A subscription renews automatically for the same billing period unless you cancel it through your Apple account at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, or within any different period Apple states at checkout. Apple may charge the renewal price within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings. Cancellation stops future renewal and Premium access normally continues until the end of the paid period. Deleting the Naked app or your Naked account does not cancel an Apple subscription. If you delete your Naked account, cancel the Apple subscription separately to avoid future charges.

Use Restore Purchases in the app if an active Apple subscription is not recognised on an eligible device or account. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its rules, without affecting any statutory consumer right that applies to you. If a subscription expires, is refunded or is revoked, the Premium entitlement may end and the account will revert to the access then available without that entitlement.

6. Founders pricing

If you buy an eligible Founders monthly or annual subscription, you keep the applicable Founders price for that billing option while the subscription remains continuously active. A payment failure does not break continuity if Apple recovers the subscription within the applicable Apple Billing Grace Period. If the subscription expires or is cancelled and later restarted, Founders pricing is not guaranteed and the plans and prices then available will apply.

If Apple permits a move between an available Founders monthly and Founders annual option, the Founders price for the newly selected billing period will be shown before you confirm the change. Moving to a standard Premium product, allowing the subscription to expire or choosing an option that is not offered as a Founders product may end Founders pricing. Apple administers billing changes, payment recovery, refunds and price-change consent where required by law or App Store rules.

7. Your health-data choices

You choose whether Naked saves symptoms and triggers from predefined lists, generates an AI profile insight from saved selections, or processes temporary choices in Help Me Now. These health-data features require separate explicit consent and are not a condition of keeping an account.

During onboarding, one affirmative choice can enable symptom tracking, trigger tracking and AI profile insights. Under Settings > Health Data you can then control symptom tracking, trigger tracking, AI profile insights and Help Me Now processing separately. Re-enabling a feature after withdrawal requires a new affirmative confirmation.

  • Turning off symptom or trigger tracking deletes saved items in that category and prevents new ones being saved until re-enabled.
  • Adding or removing a saved symptom or trigger generates a replacement profile insight where insights remain enabled. The previous insight is overwritten.
  • Turning off AI profile insights deletes all stored insights and stops further generation until re-enabled.
  • Help Me Now uses symptom, trigger and intensity choices only for the current session and does not retain those choices, progress or completion after the session ends.
  • Turning off Help Me Now processing withdraws consent. The app must ask again before processing choices in another Help Me Now session.

8. AI and content limitations

The optional profile insight is generated by AI from the predefined symptoms and triggers you save. AI can produce incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable material. The insight is for self-help and reflection, not medical advice, a diagnosis or a clinical decision. You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to use any suggestion, and should seek qualified help where appropriate.

We do not guarantee a particular outcome, improvement or benefit. We may revise, add or remove content and features to improve or secure the service, but will not remove any mandatory consumer right.

9. Business-funded access

A UK organisation may fund access under a separate agreement with Naked and use the business portal to provision eligible people by invitation or work email domain. Each person uses their own Naked account, chooses whether to link it and may detach at any time through Settings > Naked Through Work.

The organisation's administrator can see the linked person's name, email address and access status for seat administration. They cannot see symptoms, triggers, AI profile insights, Help Me Now choices, favourites, learning progress or other wellbeing activity. If funded access ends or a person detaches, the personal account remains available on the generally available service.

Organisation administrators must use invitations and domains only for people they are authorised to cover, keep credentials secure and comply with their organisation's agreement. The signed business agreement controls seat numbers, invoicing, term and cancellation.

10. Permitted use and intellectual property

We and our licensors own the app, software, brand and content. While your account remains open and you comply with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-commercial licence to use Naked for your own self-help and wellbeing purposes.

Except where applicable law expressly permits it, you must not:

  • copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, license, commercially exploit or create derivative works from the app or its content without permission;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to discover source code or underlying components;
  • circumvent an access control, usage restriction or security measure;
  • scrape, crawl or use automated means to extract content or data other than through a feature we provide for that purpose;
  • introduce malware, interfere with or overload the service, or test its security without permission;
  • access another person's account or data without authority, impersonate someone, or provide materially misleading account information; or
  • resell access, infringe another person's rights or use Naked for an unlawful purpose.

11. Availability, changes and ending access

We take reasonable care to provide Naked but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security events, provider failures and events outside our reasonable control may affect the service. You can stop using Naked and delete your account through Settings > Account.

We may restrict, suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary because of fraud, a security threat, unlawful use, a serious or repeated breach, an age-eligibility issue, or a legal or regulatory requirement. Where reasonably practicable, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to put matters right. We may act immediately where delay could expose Naked, another person or the service to material harm.

12. Third-party services and Apple

Naked may work with or link to services provided by others, including Apple distribution services and external emergency, crisis or wellbeing resources. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply. A link does not mean we endorse every statement or service on the external site. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Naked, including your mobile network and Apple account terms.

These Terms are between you and Naked, not Apple. Naked, not Apple, is responsible for the app, its maintenance and support, and claims relating to it, subject to these Terms and applicable law. If a third party claims that the app or your possession and use of it infringes intellectual property rights, Naked, not Apple, is responsible for investigating and handling that claim. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the parts that benefit them after you accept the Terms.

You represent that you are not in a country or region subject to a United States Government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and are not on a United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

13. Liability and consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable when you accepted these Terms. Naked is supplied for personal and domestic use; we are not responsible for business loss, including loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings, data or opportunity, except where the law does not allow that exclusion.

Because Naked is a self-help service and not clinical care, we are not responsible for a decision to delay or avoid seeking professional or emergency help contrary to the clear guidance in the app and these Terms. This does not reduce any duty we owe you by law or exclude liability caused by our negligence.

14. General terms

We may send account, security, service and legal notices to the email address on your account, display them in the app, or publish them through the service where appropriate. Keep your email address current.

We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a reorganisation, financing, sale or transfer of the service, provided this does not reduce your rights; we will notify you where required. You may not transfer your account or rights under these Terms without our agreement, except where law permits it.

If we do not enforce a provision immediately, that does not waive our right to do so later. If a court finds part of these Terms unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Clauses that need to continue after account closure, including ownership, liability and dispute provisions, will continue.

15. Law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live, and your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Contact support@naked.health or write to Naked Works Limited, 4 Counters Close, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 1SE, England. An organisation's signed agreement controls any conflicting commercial term of its business-funded access.
